Carolyn started lessons with my 5 year old daughter this past fall and my daughter (and us) are loving it! My daughter has learned and memorized songs and is confident to share with anyone that will listen. Carolyn is patient, encouraging and flexible. My 11 year old son has been taking piano lessons with Carolyn for almost 3 years. Carolyn is an absolutely a wonderful teacher. She hand picks all the music so it suits the student’s level and interests. It is very motivating to my son because he has a learning disability with how he processes information. Carolyn helps him understand how to read music by playing music computer games and board games which keeps him interested in playing the piano. Since taking piano lessons with Carolyn my son’s confidence has soared and he can’t wait to attend his next lesson. My 5-year old son has been taking lessons with Carolyn for about 5 months now. She genuinely takes interest in his progress and he enjoys the class. Though my son was not interested at the start his interest has grown over time. As a parent with a young child I have to follow up diligently at home.
