Carolyn Reisinger, Executive Director, Founder, Co-Owner
Carolyn Reisinger is the Executive Director, Founder, and Co-Owner of Reisinger Conservatory of Music. She founded the conservatory in 1998 and has been teaching since 1979.
Carolyn has performed extensively throughout the Twin Cities as a solo pianist. She was also a Pianist at House of Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Paul. Carolyn has worked as a collaborative pianist throughout the Twin Cities since 1987. She joined the Minnesota Music Teachers Association in 1988 and has served as an adjudicator for Piano, Theory, Ensemble, Contest and Bridges Exams.
Carolyn holds a B.A Piano Performance and Pedagogy Degree from Valley City State University, an M.S. Piano Performance and Pedagogy Degree from Moorhead State University, and a Kindermusik Certificate. Carolyn is also a Wonderkeys instructor. She has completed pain-free piano courses in using the Taubman Method at St. Cloud State University as well as courses at College of St. Catherine.
Carolyn is a Permanent Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through the National music Teachers Association (NCTM) as well as Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MTNA).
Carolyn has studied classical piano and jazz improvisation at University of M, McPhail & University of St. Catherine.
At Reisinger Conservatory of Music, Carolyn inspires her piano students through her love of music. She teaches all styles of music and is advanced in teaching music theory. Many of her students have gone on to careers in music.
