At Reisinger Conservatory of Music, we aim to help students of all ages and abilities learn & refine piano, drums, percussion, music theory, and ear training all while developing creativity, ambitious standards, and excellence in all aspects of music. We offer performance opportunities for all students to develop a sense of accomplishment while learning the art of musicianship and public stage presence.

Highly Qualified Teachers

Our highly qualified teachers hold degrees in piano, performance, theory, pedagogy, drums, percussion, and the music industry. We also offer early childhood music education including drum, and percussion instruments such as cymbals by Zildjian and Sabian, Kindermusik, and Wonderkeys. Our curriculum covers all music styles from Bach to the top hits of today.

We are members of music teachers’ associations We collaborate with professional organizations such as the Music Teachers National Association, Minnesota Music Teachers Association, Apple Valley Music Teachers Association, South Suburban Music Teachers Association, and National Federation of Music Clubs.

Over forty of our piano-drums-theory and ear training students have gone on to become professional musicians including performers and entertainers throughout the United States. They have opened private piano and music theory studios, become university music theory or piano professors. Our students have achieved high state and national testing scores in piano and music theory. We have students who became composers, cruise ship entertainers, engaged in music choice and creation within the movie industry, grade school-middle school-and high school music teachers and band directors. Our students have even started their own bands.

Reisinger Conservatory of Music is one of the most innovative studios for music study. We offer incentives and award challenges to help keep student motivation and enjoyment. Our core values are based on giving students a high-quality musical education from professional musicians. All the while helping our students enjoy their music!

If you are interested in opening your own music studio but do not know where to begin, we have a new program offering: “How to Set Up Your Own Music Studio: A Step-by-Step Guide.” Carolyn Reisinger has over 45 years of experience opening profitable music studios. In addition to opening three studio locations, we help students open their own successful studios. Lessons meet online or in person. We will walk you through the steps of making your dream a reality.

Our home studio is in Lakeville, Minnesota. We serve all Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding areas in Dakota county. We also offer online drum lessons.
