Percussion Lessons

The percussionist is the heartbeat of any band. They help the players keep time with one another.

Our percussion teacher will help you to learn all things percussion. You will learn about all the percussion instruments that percussionists use such as Xylophone, cymbals, triangle, snare drum, bass drum, tambourines, maracas, chimes, celesta and more!

All students will learn proper practice, navigation & technique, note reading, rhythm and how to build coordination.

We will help you prepare for a concert band, jazz band, rock band or just for fun! You will learn songs, cadences and other types of techniques used for playing percussion instruments.

Our Percussion teacher Offers the Following Lesson Lengths

  • 30-minute private lessons
  • 45-minute private lessons
  • 60-minute private lessons

Shared drum lessons

While it is best to take private lessons-there are times when a shared lesson is necessary. Chris will discuss options that are available if you are interested.

We also offer longer lessons by arrangement. Please let our percussion teacher know how long you would like to have your drum lesson.
